Winberries

I grew up and was born in Oak Park. This restaurant has helped me celebrate birthdays, baptisms, weddings, and the life of those lost after funerals. Winberries has the atmosphere of Oak Park in one building. Oak Park is reminiscent of the family big city life which is much more than your typical suburb, but it also feels very close to family as well. This is how Winberries feels as well. We brought our 4 and 5 year old there this weekend. Not only is Winberries across from the beautiful Scoville Park, where many congregate and gather, but it also is in the heart of the "downtown" area. They are a little bit on the pricier side, but it is well worth it! The kids got delicious and creative meals with dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets and a big pizza, but ALSO ice cream after! We grown ups, had very satisfying meals as well. I had a tuna salad sandwich which was huge and very filling (your typical American sandwich) and my man got a Pork Jambalaya! He said it was the best meal he has had at a restaurant in a long time. I am pretty certain that he licked the plate while I wasn't looking. Like I said you could easily take the kids here and come for a casual beer and dinner AND the inside is fancy and beautiful so after event socials could also take place here. Winberries is definitely a gem of Oak Park!

Sono cresciuto e nato a Oak Park. Questo ristorante mi ha aiutato a festeggiare compleanni, battesimi, matrimoni, e la vita di coloro perso dopo i funerali. Winberries ha l"atmosfera di Oak Park in un unico edificio. Oak Park ricorda la famiglia vita della grande città, che è molto di più di quanto il tuo quartiere tipico, ma si sente anche molto vicino alla famiglia. Questo è il modo Winberries si sente pure. Abbiamo portato i nostri 4 e 5 anni in questo fine settimana. Non solo è Winberries di fronte alla bella Scoville Park, dove molti si riuniscono e si riuniscono, ma è anche nel cuore della zona "centro". Essi sono un po "sul lato più costoso, ma è valsa la pena! I ragazzi hanno piatti deliziosi e creativi con a forma di dinosauro pepite di pollo e una pizza grande, ma anche il gelato dopo! Siamo cresciuti up, aveva pasti molto soddisfacenti pure. Ho avuto un insalata panino al tonno che era enorme e molto abbondante (il tipico panino americano) e il mio uomo preso un maiale Jambalaya! Ha detto che era il miglior pasto che ha avuto in un ristorante in un lungo periodo di tempo. Sono abbastanza certo che si leccava il piatto, mentre io non guardavo. Come ho detto si potrebbe facilmente portare i bambini qui e venire per una birra informale e la cena e l"interno è di fantasia e bella così dopo eventi sociali evento potrebbe avvenire anche qui. Winberries è sicuramente un gioiello di Oak Park!
